Do you think it's lathe and plaster walls? I know here in the US that was commonly used before drywall, but I also know a lot of European buildings are way older than the US buildings so it could be something else

I honestly don't think our houses were ever made from lath and plaster but could be wrong either way my house was only built in the 80s as a council house it's made with concrete and bricks the whole way through

The answer is yes.

Alright let me expand on this, haha! Robin possess a monstrous charisma and learned an inhuman prowess for manipulation, he is a very eloquent speaker and is incredibly persuasive/charming. He is a terrific planner, coming up with both long and short-term solutions to subdue enemies, and machiavellian in execution of those plans--due to his own world views and experiences, he is EXTREMELY distrusting of anyone who enters his life. Evil expects evil from others, all of that nonsense.

That being said, Robin tends to mold the truth and tell lies of omission more than just flat-out ones. He is extremely good at putting his mind into the POV of others and has a strong sense of empathy that he will use to vet whoever he is speaking to. He'll manipulate people by making them feel safe and comfortable in order to gather information, however this isn't to say his intentions are necessarily bad, generally done through kindness, compassion, and understanding. There's often no malice behind this, and it drops when he finds that whoever he's speaking with isn't trying to do him any harm.

He will feign ignorance, interest, compassion, all of the above in order to get the information he needs to be comfortable. If that includes lying or pretending to get around an obstacle, so be it. Emotional manipulators are incredibly skilled liars, and this is no different for him, and it is incredibly difficult to tell when his kindness is genuine or not. This will fall off though, as I said, or ramp up to 100 if he deems you untrustworthy or a threat. I challenge you to try and figure out if he's lying or not.

For Abel: He lies as much as humans breathe air, not so much to Robin, shockingly, but to others? Oh yeah.
